Slave Narratives: a Folk History of Slavery in the United States From Interviews with Former Slaves Georgia Narratives, Part 1



This book comes from interviews in the early 1930's of  ex-slaves still living. The stories are told in their own words. I will tell you which stories to read and you will then be tested on them. This reading will start next Monday October 7, 2013. The book is free, so download it early.

  1. I enjoyed the flexibility of a pre-recorded classes. It allowed me to settle down to tackle all the assigned videos and homework when I was in a relaxed mood. I also enjoyed Outrageous Punishment, it was an informative piece. But it was short read, but since it was free, it was understandable.

  3. Brian Marshall - The power point on Industrial age to Information age was very educational. You can see how far we came from in regards to technology. "old school" companies are now finding a hard time to keep up with the new technology. Technology has its pros and cons. I cant wait to see what technology is in the near future.
